Love Triangle: CardGame/ Coopetition Gameplay/ 3 Players

Gather the highest score to pursue your true love!

 

Love Triangle is a 3 player coopetition card game with two winners and one loser based on love triangles in real life. By using the cards in your hand, you must strategize in order to gather the biggest total points in your scoring area or tie another player amount of points. The twist is that players share scoring areas with each other. There is an incentive to share, just like in a triangle of love. Because of this twist, the loser during the next round will have the upperhand by being able to swap cards in the next round on their last turn. Since you love what you can’t have, winning players from a previous round are then incentivised to break apart to alliance with the player with the swap advantage.

 

Alliances change frequently and trust is formed only to break later in the game. To win, you have to stab people in the back, but if you are known as a backstabber you might get stabbed in the back. Follow your feelings and spread the cards of love but share your feelings wisely as you progress throughout the Love Triangle!
